Finally uploaded the site to my iTools webspace, along with a new, Geisha pimping, Splash Page.
Three months without an online update? That's what happens when I move to London to go to university and don't have internet access on my own iBook. So every six weeks will probably be the schedule from now on; reading weeks when I go home.
Thanks for sticking around (if you have) and look forward to yet more geeky obsessiveness with the comic books. Nearly four and a half years this thing's been going (three and a half as a website, two and a half of those online) and nothing so intangible or fleeting as a potential social life will keep me from it. Hoo-hah.
New stuff that's been done to the site? All GIFs have been converted into PNG files, the directory structure has been completely reorganised (yay multiple file text replacement in BBEdit), the details of 26 new books have been added, and previous news announcements have been grouped by month.

Bought the sexy From Cloud 99 - Memories Part 1 and the intriguing 100 Bullets 31. Made the From Cloud 99 page.
Spent yet more money that I don't have on comic books that I don't need but really want. Geisha and Transmetropolitan 51. Made Geisha page, which isn't pointless (in Version 3, if I only had one issue of a certain title, I wouldn't bother making a dedicated title page and just linked straight to the book's data page) because I'll be getting the one-shot eventually.
Bought 100 Bullets 30, Slow News Day three and the excellent Zero Girl by Sam Kieth. Made the Zero Girl page.
I got my iBook back a few weeks ago (Apple sent me the new 600MHz model by accident, which was pretty sweet ^_^) so it's back to website making.
Over the past few weeks I bought the following comics; 100 Bullets 21, 100 Bullets 26, Gen13 #70, Kabuki One Half, Planetary #7, Planetary #9, Planetary #10, Treehouse Of Horror #7 and Transmetropolitan 50. Also made a page for The Simpsons.
Bought myself a shiny new CanoScan N650U today for £59. Can I afford that? Smeg no. Is food an optional extra? It is now...
So I typed up the details for a few comic books that I've bought over the last week. I was going to leave it until I get my replacement iBook (the latch on this one has broken and so I'm getting a replacement) but someone at university is letting me use an external hard drive, so I won't lose all my stuff. Yay.
Anyway, those books were; 100 Bullets 25, 100 Bullets 27, 100 Bullets 29, Battle Chasers #9, Ministry of Space No. 2, Slow News Day one and Slow News Day two. Slow News Day page made as well.
Going back home tomorrow to pick up the box my iBook came in and also some comics I left behind. And I guess I'll see my family too.
I'm now living in London and writing this on my shiny new iBook. Unfortunately I don't yet have internet access because I'm living in halls of residence and no outgoing calls are allowed. Fortunately, I did find a CD with a copy of BBEdit Lite on it, so I can return to my website making. No graphics until I get a copy of Photoshop and a USB scanner, but yay for text.
Anyway, a couple of days ago I went to Gosh! and Comic Showcase and bought The Invisibles: Apocalipstick, Battle Angel Alita and The Cowboy Wally Show. Have made the obligatory Battle Angel Alita and The Cowboy Wally Show pages.
Went to my local comic store and closed down my account. Kind of sad.
Bought 100 Bullets 28, Transmetropolitan 48, Transmetropolitan 49, The Dirty Pair: Sim Hell Remastered #4 and Kabuki Agents (Scarab) #8. Now I need to re-read all of Kabuki to work out what the hell is going on. I can live with that ^_^
There was a book fair at the city centre and they were selling comic books, which was nice. Bought the following for just £10: America's Best Comics Special, Plastic Forks Book 1, Plastic Forks Book 2, Plastic Forks Book 3, Plastic Forks Book 4 and Plastic Forks Book 5. Made the America's Best Comics and Plastic Forks pages as a matter of course.
Hot damn! I'm finally finished! That's 497 data pages made for books from 107 individual titles! Excuse my exclaiming but there were times during the last couple of months that it seemed I was never going to finish.
So, this time around I've actually bothered to write about each title (to a greater or lesser extent) on its respective page. I have yet to review each individual book (there're 497 for Bob's sake!) but that will happen. Honest.
I didn't stop buying comics when I abandoned the site way back in April, ho no. These are the comics that I have bought since then; The Dirty Pair: Sim Hell Remastered #1, The Dirty Pair: Sim Hell Remastered #2, The Dirty Pair: Sim Hell Remastered #3, The Invisibles: Say You Want a Revolution, Kabuki Agents (Scarab) #7, Ministry of Space No. 1, Planetary #14, Planetary #15, Transmetropolitan 45, Transmetropolitan 46, Transmetropolitan 47, Transmetropolitan: Filth Of The City and V for Vendetta. And so The Invisibles, Ministry of Space and V for Vendetta title pages were also made.
Went to London yesterday and bought some comics. Here are their data pages; Transmetropolitan 44, Super Manga Blast! #10, 3x3 Eyes: House of Demons and Stranger Kisses #3. Also made the Super Manga Blast! and 3x3 Eyes pages.
Added two new wallpapers to the downloads page; wp-37.jpg and wp-38.jpg.

Went to Forbidden Planet in London and got every single comic I own (that's written by Warren Ellis) signed by that very man. Also got my copies of The Authority signed by Bryan Hitch.
Bought, and wrote data pages for; 100 Bullets 20 and Transmetropolitan 42.
Compressed all those peskily huge JPGs from about 8MB down to about 5MB. So the site'll last a little longer.
Wrote data pages for; Adventures in the Rifle Brigade 3, Hellblazer 70, Hellblazer 142, Hellblazer 157 and Swamp Thing 10. Created the Adventures in the Rifle Brigade and Swamp Thing pages. And The Shawshank Redemption was reviewed by Ioannis.
