Wheee! Six new comic books; Empowered Volume 4, Ex Machina: Power Down, 100 Bullets: Dirty, Sam & Max Surfin' The Highway, The Walking Dead, Volume 8: Made To Suffer and Y: The Last Man: Whys and Wherefores. Proper scans of the covers, rather than blurry camera-phone shots, will be uploaded over Christmas, once I fetch my scanner from the UK.
The second book of the year, Empowered Volume 3, was well worth the wait, with both very cute and very scary stories. I also shut down my standing order with Gosh! due to living in Germany for the next year. There were four other books I expected to buy in London, Ex Machina: Power Down, 100 Bullets: Dirty, The Walking Dead, Volume 8: Made to Suffer and Y: The Last Man: Whys and Wherefores, but the first was out of stock and the other three have all been delayed. I make the home page go good soon.
The first new book of the year arrived in the post today, the aforementioned Chuck Dugan is AWOL.
I've just completed a slight redesign of this website, in order that I might submit it as part of the "User Centred Design and Human Computer Interaction" module I'm currently taking.
Changes include "breadcrumbs" up at the very top, the shifting of the Search box to that same region and the re-introduction of this site's actual title (or at least a fragment thereof) just below that.
Also making a belated return is the "main" page, now dubbed "Home", upon which I give a proper introduction to this place, so that those who have never visited before may know what is going on.
The sob-sobbing robot being attacked by Japanese schoolgirls (courtesy of Adam Warren) remains in the page header, so as to stop things getting too plain, and the magnifying glass that had previously served as the search feature's graphic has been re-appropriated into serving as a reminder that you can enlarge every comic book's cover simply by clicking on it.
Finally, there shall be some new comic books here in the near future, at the very least Eric Anderson's Chuck Dugan is AWOL and the third volume of Empowered. Living in Germany means not visiting London for months at a time... So, soon I cancel my standing order with Gosh! and start using Amazon for all my comic book needs.
