Yorrick
Chapter 12, by Caleb Newcastle

Giles was confused.  What was he doing in a bar, in New New York, in the year 3000, drinking a pint of milk with Bruce Campbell, Bill Murray and Bender?
"Various time travel clichés et cetera," offered Bender, by way of explanation.
"I see.  So... you know what happened in the end?"
"Oh, yes," replied Bill.  "It was quite good."
Much milk was drank in silence.
Giles was the first to break.  "Well, what happened then?!"

Franky chomped some more on his cigar.
"Aren't you meant to light those?" asked Yorrick.
"Hella no, this is a family show.  No smoking in front of the children."
   "Remember to drink milk?"
"And go to the youth center."
   "Right.  I have an idea?"
   "Mm-hmm?"
"Since you're not bothering to telephone that place you're supposed to telephone at the beginning of every timetravelthing... and the cigar-chomping vest-wearing... can I assume that you've quit?"
   "I guess..."
"So you've got a bit of time on your hands?"
   "Yup."
   "Looking for an adventure?"
   "Mm-hmm."
"Supoirb."  Yorrick extended some of his fibres into Franky's nipples, taking over his body.
   "What are you doing?"
"Making you into a young Fred Ward."
   "Off Tremors?"
   "The same."
   "Cool."
   "I thought so."
   "And then?"
"We're going to find my creator's murderers."
   "He was murdered?"
   "Exploded."

"I had a whole mind-block thing all planned out," explained Widget.
   "Mm-hmm?"
"It was all there; Scully, Skinner, Snow..."
   "Snow?"
   "Shit."
   "Exactly."
   "What am I talking about?"
   "Comic book reference."
"But this is all TV and film?"
   "Exactly."
   "So no mind-blocks?"
   "Not anymore."

Giles remembered leaving the cooker on.  That's why Sunnydale High had exploded, killing Buffy and many others who cannot be remembered right now.  He also remembered exactly what Pringles tasted like and so no longer desired them with such an all-consuming passion.

Bellio.

Yorrick remembered that he being a detective had been a mistake, since he was really an inspector.
