0026 - Happy Dissertation

Hey kids.

For reasons a (select) few of you know I am feeling rather happier than usual.

So there will be no doom or gloom in this weekly.

Ho no.

To begin, I offer you all a dissertation of my latest masterpiece. Which if, for some reason, you haven't seen yet can be found at www.megasad3.freeserve.co.uk/pictures/wp-29.jpg.

The golden background is a human skull. Blurrified, sharpened, twisted and reformed using good ol' PSP6. So, if you look at it close up, you can see the teeth and eye sockets. But, if you look at it normally, it looks like there's a horizon about halfway up the page. So above that you've got this glorious golden sunset. And below it you've got vast wheat fields, with a road in the middle. And I'm walking down the road, out of the sun. Behind my left arm there is a dark blot of smoke, rising from some fire which is obscured by me. You can't see the destruction I leave in my wake 'cos it's obscured.
There is a stream alongside the road down which I walk. On my right hand side. It waters the dry, dry land, bringing life to an otherwise barren country. And it's also (originally) a lung. That with which you breathe.
On either side of the piece there are fragments of a biological diagram of an eye. I've got a thing about eyes. The technical annotations are illegible and all that is clear is that it has been cut open. And made blue. And the edges look like the stringy bits of bluetack when you stretch it beyond it's stretching limit. I like bluetack.
The white text just below the horizon on my left hand side is a simple dedication. Giving (obvious) purpose to the piece.
The cartoon below that is one I saw many years ago. I found it amusing. And knew (some of) you would too. What I especially like about it now is that it was a prediction of the year 2000 made many decades ago. If only learning were that easy. That and it's an English lesson. I like English.
The feathers to either side of me are 'cos I really want to fly. And I feel like I could but can't anymore. So they've been ripped out. I can't fly anymore. Or at least that's what I felt like when I made this piece. Right now I could soar off into space at any moment. Thank ghod for roofs.
Censo ber. Or so it appears. Actually censored, taken from the blue foam covering my penis. Censo with the red mirrored and set slightly adrift. And then I've always liked redrum. So a mirrored, smaller rum is attached to the d/b. Redrum mirrored. Yay.
And now me. For that is me in the centre. Some of you (I know) did not realise that. It is. I scanned myself in A4 chunks and then stuck them all together using PSP. Which explains the rather fractured look. The blue foam / censo red is there for obvious reasons. One, I've got a small penis. And two, some of you might object to downloading an e-mail and being presented with something you'd rather not see. So the art is censored. I can produce an uncensored one (original scans were kept). But I think I won't. Anyway, it all turned out rather well. My arms were larger than I expected. And my head was smaller. But it's all to scale. So now I know. My head had to be tilted upwards so as my neck could be scanned. So my hair and eyes faded into black. I put gold in my eyes because I like gold (colour). And the hair became the sun. My nipple area is highlighted due to the angle of the scans and some have said it makes me look like I have breasts. Okay.
This is the first piece of art I have made that actually means something to me. The first two were bits of inspirationalism that I simply felt and made. And the third was but some nice textures. This piece means things.

There's more. But I'll leave that for you to discover on your own.

So if you haven't seen all those pieces, they can be found on the Kewl Stuff page at The Freaks Webshite (www.freaks.fsnet.co.uk/kewl.htm). Go see.

Something which will make all of you laugh. Go to the Kewl Stuff page (as linked to above) and scroll down to the Stuff by Kage part. Download and watch that MPG (www.freaks.fsnet.co.uk/stuff/babykick.mpg). Let me know what you think.

A hell of a lot of stuff has happened to The Freaks Webshite (www.freaks.fsnet.co.uk) over the last few weeks. If you haven't been there recently, go now. Robert, David, Ali, Alex and Melsy all have pictures found elsewhere, not of them. This is because they were lazy and didn't send me actual photos. If you want a different picture on your page from what you have at the moment, contact me.

Hmm, this is turning into a Freaks Webshite thang. Sorry.

Feck, I'm so happy I didn't even mind being all sweaty on the way home (Thursday) because it was so hot. Hell, I even enjoyed it! I enjoyed the feeling of swimming as I walked the way home; salt in my mouth, in my eyes, in my hair; cooking as I walked. I'm listening to Girl From Mars and Insomnia and everything's brilliant.

Love and happiness be with you all,
Caleb
