Mega Sad Comics is a comic book company which I founded in 1995/6. After a long period of inactivity I've started producing Mega Sad Comics once more. Here are the best comics I've produced so far.
> Title > Simon and the Yellow Tree
> Published > 1998
> No. Pages > 32
> Comments > Simon and the Yellow Tree is a comic I originally produced about two years ago, under an imprint of Mega Sad Comics (called Bright Horse Comics). It's a pretty interesting story and, because I can't actually draw women, Page 31 features some very nice Adam Warren art (originally taken from page 11 of The Dirty Pair - Sim Hell #3).
> Title > Gareth and the Pixie Dust
> Published > March 1999
> No. Pages > 40
> Comments > Gareth and the Pixie Dust is one of the latest releases from Mega Sad Comics. I wrote it for the 15th Birthday of a friend of mine (Gareth Preston). It is the longest and quickest story I have ever written, totalling 40 pages and taking me less than twelve hours between thinking it up and producing the finished article.
> Title > The Birthday Crossover... #2
> Published > May 1999
> No. Pages > 32
> Comments > This is the second part of The Birthday Crossover... and was produced for Ian's 16th birthday. It continues the story where #1 left off and introduces the newest character (and main baddie) Gemma.
> Title > The Birthday Crossover... #3
> Published > May 1999
> No. Pages > 40
> Comments > This is the third (and final) part of The Birthday Crossover... and was produced for Michelle's 16th birthday. It depicts the dramatic finale to this mini-series, and wraps up all the loose ends.
I am currently working on a new story. Little is confirmed at present, but the artwork will reflect the advances I have made in recent months. So at least it will look good.
