0074 - Mathematising

Look, I'm Revising is all. So I've got to keep my head low, not stay online for six hours at a time, actually Learn this goddamn Mathematics that they tried to teach me for three years and I still don't understand in the slightest. I'm going to be a poet! A film maker! A writer! A human shooting star! But first... first I've got to pass those pesky A Levels. Pass them Good, too. Computing? B. English? A. Maths? Fuck. I need a C. An E minimum, and even then it's shaky. Why didn't they impress upon me that I didn't know a thing? The Bastards.

But on the Bright Side? Maid Marian and Her Merry Men! It's back! Hallelujah, praise the Bob. Rabies! Susan! Ah, it's all good, it's all good. And Philip Larkin? The man was a genius! I need read more of his work! Sure, the exam's on Wednesday and I'll be mathematising between now and then... but guess what? I'm going to read his poetry after the exam... just because I want to! Hot dogs and cats and rats.

Excuse this terrified, panicky rambling I do when I realise I have three days left to learn Mathematics.
