w h e n ?
I started this website back in February 1999. It was built to accompany my first website, Caleb Newcastle's Sad and Obsessive Comic Library.
Version 1 stayed static for about a year. It was not very good.
Version 2 was better, but after a few months it bored me with its dark and grimy appearance.
Version 3 was designed on a day when I was particularly upset. It eased the pain and was nice to look at... but it was tired and looked too normal.
And now, in Version 4, I think I have found a look that I like. Very sparse, both in language and graphics, it is far more focussed than any of the previous designs. I think I will keep it for a while.
