Mrs Oakley, who knows about a hundred languages, is 13R's form tutor.

Dr Falconer, a long serving member of the English department, is Ruding's housemaster.  He operates around the open end of the library and in Rotherfield.  He is also 12R's form tutor.

Mrs Bennett is 11R's form tutor.  She teaches Mathematics.

10R has two form tutors this year, Mr Morgan (Geography) and Mrs G. Austin (R.S.).

Mrs Sloss teaches all of the food technology and textiles lessons for the school.  She is 9R's form tutor.

And finally, Miss Poulter (Biology) is 8R's form tutor.

So far this year Ruding is in strong sixth position.  From this it is safe to assume that we are not a house which thinks that grades are all that matter (or something like that), rather we believe that it's the taking part (or not taking part) that counts...  However, it would be nice to have a few more points.  Hopefully this web-site will get us some.

Here are many points each house currently has:

We probably have some more house points now that we've had the house matches.  As soon as I found out what the new totals are I'll update this page.  Speaking of the house matches, here are some photos, courtesy of Scott Adams.

If this site is updated, then this page will be used to keep you up to date on Ruding's latest news and information.  Otherwise, this is a snapshot of our situation in the spring term of 1999.
